Meithrinfa Morlo Nursery is a full day care nursery for boys and girls from three months – fours years old. We are open Monday to Friday each week, from 8.30am-5.30pm, closing for all bank holidays and over Christmas and the New Year period.

We are registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate in Wales for 28 children at any one time, and have yearly inspections the latest reports can be viewed on the CSSIW website or at the nursery.

The aim of our nursery is to encourage children to be more independent and to develop self help skills, whilst increasing confidence.

We aim to provide a caring, clean, safe, fun, and stimulating environment. And welcome children from all cultural, ethnic, religious and social groups and children with and without disabilities.

Our staff will act as good role models to children showing consideration, respect and good manners to others. Children will be supervised at all times, with the appropriate ratio of staff to children.

£29.50 – per day
£17.25 per half day / 8.30am- 1.00pm or 1.00pm- 5.30pm
£147.50-per week
Chosen days must be the same each week

Freshly prepared meals are included in the fees, alongside two healthy snack times throughout the day. Parents must supply all nappies, wipes, creams, and sun creams. Baby foods must be provided by the parent.

The nursery is a non profit making company, and in order for it to be sustainable child care fees will be increased as and when necessary, parents will be advised with one months notice of any changes in the fees.

Our manager Emma Owen or Deputy Manager Linda Williams are always on hand to show you around, or to answer any questions you may have about the nursery. To enquire about availability please contact Emma and ask for an interest form.

All children will have a key worker at the nursery to enable them to feel secure whilst at the nursery; the key worker will look after your child each day and get to know them well, being on hand to speak with parents about the child’s day.

The key worker for the baby room is Holly Owen, she is in charge on a daily basis of the two baby rooms, which can take 12 children from three months-two years, alongside three other staff members for consistency of care for your child.

In the over two’s room we can take up to sixteen children from 2 years old- 4 years, the key workers in here are Sarah Owen for the 2 year olds, Meirwen Thomas and Rachel Hughes for the 3+ age group. Alongside other members of staff, Linda our Deputy works some days in this room.

All staff are fully qualified to a high standard and are always updating their training and knowledge for the benefit of the children in their care, with NVQ’S, first aid, child protection, and many others.
