Also operating from the London Road Community Centre, Christmas in a Box gives residents the opportunity to save over the year to purchase a Christmas hamper consisting of fresh fruit, vegetables, salad, meat and trimmings.  The hamper costs £65 and this year approximately 75 residents have taken advantage of this scheme, which is administered by volunteers.
