Free Young People and Children Summer Activities
Splash Funded Activities
Morlo receive funding from the Youth Justice Board towards holding activities for young people aged approximately 9 – 12 years of age during school holidays.
There will be five weeks of activities held during the summer starting on Monday 20th July up until 28th August. These sessions will run from 10am – 12pm and then 1pm – 3pm. Examples of activities that will be included during these sessions are swimming, golf, bowling, environmental work, soccer school, tipi making, fishing, kayaking and much much more. Many spaces are limited and therefore awarded on a first come first serve basis, to register your child please contact the Morlo Office at Gwelfor.
Cymorth Funded Activities
Funding is received from Cymorth Open Access Play Grant towards holding activities for children ages 5 – 9 years. These sessions will be held at Gwelfor Community Centre every Thursday and Friday starting from the 30th July – 21st August. These sessions will include arts and craft, nature walks, games, sports activities and much more.
